Coralius enters Belgian ICT consulting market
LEUVEN, 2 March 2009 - Coralius is a brand new consulting company on the Belgian ICT market. The self-named Quality Service Provider offers services with high added value in and around the Software Development Lifecycle. The extensive expertise of Coralius mainly concerns project management, requirements engineering, software testing and security audit.

Founders Nadine Pelicaen and Ludo Vanmunster see themselves as realistic, yet ambitious at the start of Coralius: "Our goal for 2009 is to create a basis of expertise around a core team of approximately ten senior consultants. From next year onwards we switch to a higher gear and want Coralius to be a financially solid growth company on the Belgian market". Nadine and Ludo can claim a decent knowledge of the Belgian ICT market. Nadine recently held a position as CEO of an important player in the niche market of software testing and accumulated experience in project management and software development. Also Ludo has been active in this niche market for several years. He held positions as Account and Country Manager and will mainly focus on sales activities of Coralius. Both founders have complementary skills and form a perfect team that boosts their individual competences.
Coralius targets companies that appreciate an efficient no-nonsense approach regarding quality assurance and that value a partnership with a smaller player, specialized in consulting for very specific domains. The new company will start with a core team of professional senior consultants, who are experts in project and requirements management, software testing, security, quality assurance and business-specific knowledge transfer.
Although the present economic situation may be gloomy -especially in the financial and automotive sector- Nadine Pelicaen and Ludo Vanmunster see a bright future ahead: "We are both experienced in this market. We know our competitors and we know that customers still demand the specific services Coralius offers. Moreover, we couldn't have picked a better moment to start now: because we are dynamic, flexible and work with very limited overhead we can efficiently fill in our customers' needs, regardless of the economic climate."
